On Dec. 31, Orange Park Pediatrics said farewell to Dr. Gehret as he transitioned into a well-deserved retirement after a long and prosperous career in pediatrics. Dr. Gehret has lived in Jacksonville since 1978, when he started his first job as a pediatric physician at the Naval Hospital at NAS Jacksonville.
Dr. Gehret’s retirement will give him more time to focus on the things he loves: spending time with his wife, five children, and ten grandchildren, volunteering for Kairos Prison Ministry, playing tennis, traveling, and participating in the music ministry at his church.
The staff of Orange Park Pediatrics wishes Dr. Gehret the best as he starts this new chapter of his life!
